Does the HUB have to be connected to a Router all the time

Nice product

I ordered 4 cameras and I cannot be more pleased with the product in every aspect. Clarity of video and alerts while monitoring. The zoom feature is just as good as the streaming video. It literally takes less than 1 minute to get them up and working. The functionality and ease of operation is amazing. I literally had my whole residence all areas covered in less than 1 hour at most. The magnetic base is the best mounting system for ease and alignment of covered zones. Most importantly I have a great sense of security and am confident my family is better protected both while I’m home or not with this system. No contracts, no subscriptions unless you choose to participate. The battery life is 6 months depending on use. Easy to charge with a common USB cord .I have nothing but outstanding things to say about this product. I did alot of grueling research looking for the best fit and this product checks every box and more. I’ve saved you alot of boring reading and fact checking. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain by just trying the product. I promise you will not be returning it but will probably be buying more for loved ones and friends. I have 2 friends who have already seen my system and have already purchased it. As I write this review it has been 4 days and I am over the moon about it. I hope my information helps.
